The Kids Radio project was launched on January 21, 2017 by TopAfric eV with the aim of giving children and young people between the ages of 10 and 15 years the theoretical and practical experience in a radio station.

The courses took place every Saturday at the TopAfric Radio premises.

Editors Georgina Fakunmoju took over the management of the project, previously Jesse Georgy and Charity Asante, who brought a lot of knowledge with them due to their editorial experience and work as moderators. The kids were trained in various subject areas, and the development of their own profile was also part of the measure. Questions about the educational and professional future, as well as the program design based on this, yielded a positive result, which can also be helpful for the kids when choosing a job in the future.
